Dave Boswell is a full time real estate investor and founder of New Wealth Advisors Club in Riverside, CA. Much can be said about Dave’s beginnings, which has led him to where he is today. For certain he has shared his vision and entrepreneurial spirit and changed the lives of 100’s of people when it comes to real estate investing. Dave is a leader in the field of real estate investing and has achieved many of his personal and financial goals through strict discipline and integrity.
In working with Dave I am inspired by his background and experiences. Originally from Riverside, CA, spending much of his early years moving from place to place as his dad served in the military. Dave was 10 years old when his father passed away. He was forced to become the man of the house as his mother suffered from depression as a result of losing her husband. Ultimately, at age 13, he was on his own. He graduated early from high school and began college at the age of 17. By 20, he had graduated first in his class in the police academy. Over the next five years he served in law enforcement while continuing his education.
Dave met and married the love of his life Melina in 1998. Both having an entrepreneurial spirit, Dave and Melina never did well working for someone else. Dave began a small tax and accounting practice while Melina was a loan officer.
When the market came to a crash in 2007 their businesses suffered, as many did. They were seeking a system they could leverage, instead of just looking for a job. They traveled the country buying mentors, programs and guru real estate seminars trying to find the “magic pill” they needed to make a break in the investing side of real estate. A friend from church introduced them to a system that taught them to invest in real estate (short sales) using no money and no credit of their own. Within 30 days, they landed their first deal as an investor! They closed on the deal and made $50,000. Today, Dave and Melina own 22 doors, actively buy auction properties and focus on fix and flips. They attribute their success to getting educated on real estate investing and implementing their knowledge immediately.
Dave’s current focus in real estate investing are pre-foreclosures, short-sales and auction properties. When Dave isn’t closing a real estate deal, speaking at the club or training, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their grandchildren. He enjoys traveling and creating long lasting memories with his family and friends at the New Wealth Advisors Club. Through their experiences, they have realized that it takes people working together with a common purpose, to drive success. Their present office is 10,000 sq. ft., is open to like-minded people to plug into by joining their real estate investing club. Together, Dave and Melina are spreading the word to as many people as will listen about the opportunity available to everyone through real estate.
